There are times when you want nothing in this world. Nothing other than just lean on some shoulder and cry. That shoulder can be anyone who understands you. Be it your closest companion, boyfriend/girlfriend, whoever it is provided you are blessed with one. Or you can always cuddle in your mother's lap and cry,cry like a kid with a hunch that here is someone who realizes you. Who does not care what you are and what the world thinks. Who simply loves you. Selflessly...And your ears heed her gentle expressions even though she is miles away. .You cry in tranquility.,silently, coz you are a resilient person and you know that the whole world awaits you tomorrow!Well, i know that was preposterous. I was just trying to do an autopsy on what this "love" thing is all about. Akin to the love for one's parents, siblings, girlfriends/boyfriends, wife, friends etc., it has so many variations. Sometimes love even becomes relative. Like when you have to weigh on the scales of the balance, your love for your parents and your girlfriend/boyfriend or friends. It can never ever be stable, it always keeps swinging the one way or the other. We might even end up being a whole month of auto-pilot feeling eviscerated once this musing over is complete. But the truth resembles what was stated by Einstein - "Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving". Also, we always wonder why Life is like black guy's LEFT ass,Its not fair and its not RIGHT!!
There is a remarkable dialogue by Julia Roberts in one of her all time renowned romantic movies- "Its not that i cant live without you! its that i never wanted to try that!!". All those passionate lovers would be pondering over those lines only until they become one lost soul. Albeit, our good old alibi, Murphy uncle comes to picture very often with all his guns blazing in these contingencies. Anything that can possibly go wrong, does!!! Hats off to you uncle, you made our lives.
I came across the following elucidations of love when i was just surfing the net spending some quality time with my own conscience.
Love is when you go out to eat and give somebody most of your French fries without making them give you any of theirs.
Love is when my mommy makes coffee for my daddy and she takes a sip before giving it to him, to make sure the taste is OK.
Love is when Mommy gives Daddy the best piece of chicken.
And the gem:
You really shouldn't say 'I love you' unless you mean it. But if you mean it, you should say it a lot. People forget.
But the verity is that love is unfathomable, isn't it?
Here are the lyrics of a very sweet song by John Denver on LOVE.
Annie's Song (John Denver)
--------------------------
You fill up my senses
Like a night in the forest
Like the mountains in springtime
Like a walk in the rain
Like a storm in the desert
Like a sleepy blue ocean
You fill up my senses
Come fill me again
Come let me love you
Let me give my life to you
Let me drown in your laughter
Let me die in your arms
Let me lay down beside you
Let me always be with you
Come let me love you
Come love me again
